This explains what we collect when you register for APEX NQ, why, and what you can do about it. It is written plainly on purpose.
APEX NQ is operated by an individual sole trader based in the United Kingdom. Contact for any privacy question, or to exercise any right below: theogoodsmithmtb@gmail.com.
| What | Why |
|---|---|
| Your email address | To issue your licence key, let you recover it, and send your record of agreement |
| Your broker account number | To confirm you opened an account through our referral link, which is what makes access free |
| Which risk confirmations you ticked, and when | Evidence of informed consent, for both of us |
| Your IP address and browser identifier | Recorded once at registration as part of that consent record |
| The account number and server your software reports | To check the licence is being used on the account it was issued for |
We never collect your broker password, and we never have access to your money or your trading account. The software runs on your own computer and talks to your broker directly.
We process this data to perform our agreement with you (issuing and maintaining your licence), and for our legitimate interest in keeping a record that you were properly informed of the risks before using the software.
Nobody, except the infrastructure needed to run the service: Cloudflare hosts the site and stores the registration records, and an email provider delivers your key and agreement if email is enabled. We do not sell your data, we do not run advertising trackers, and we do not pass your details to the broker — the broker knows about you because you signed up with them directly.
For as long as your licence is active, and afterwards for up to six years, because the consent record is the evidence that you understood the risks. You can ask us to delete it sooner, which will also end your licence.
Under UK GDPR you can ask us to show you what we hold, correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, or provide it in a portable form. Email the address above and we will respond within one month. If you are not happy with how we handle it you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
We use no analytics, no advertising and no third party tracking. The only cookie we ever set is an affiliate attribution cookie, and only if you arrive through a partner referral link: it records which partner sent you, lasts 90 days, and is used for nothing else. Your licence key is stored in your own browser's local storage purely so you can see it again when you come back. Clearing your browser data removes it, and you can recover the key with your email and account number.
